Welcome to The Study Room! But what is it? Well, we are now not only a privately owned Christian library with 3700 over books and media resources, but we are also your local source for new Bibles and homeschool resources. Our goal at The Study Room is to provide a safe environment in which seekers, students, and followers of God can borrow and purchase resources that teach, encourage, and exhort them in the LORD and in holy living. But that’s a mouthful! In short, we are here to feed your soul.
How does the library side work? Pretty much like a normal library. Located in the heart of beautiful Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, we offer a cozy location to visit and from which to borrow the resources. Stop by to chat with our friendly staff and browse our bookcases. For your ease we have set up our library with a modern, category system. No room for Mr. Dewey here! Organized alphabetically by category, sub-category, and author, it is simple to peruse a topic or search for a specific book. Our friendly staff will be more than happy to help you find what you’re looking for or retrieve a book from the annex.
The storefront is neatly organized by homeschool subjects and bible categories. On the educational side, we specialize in academically excellent curriculum with either a biblical or neutral worldview. Our growing selection has over 320 options to meet your needs in English, Math, Science, Geography, History, Art, Biblical studies, Literature, Health, and high school electives. The Bibles are separated by age and translations. This best-selling book of all times comes in versions for kids, teens, and adults, and we offer options in multiple, solid translations. The Study Room will continue to add to its inventory with further options for features, translations, and languages.
Though we love having in-store visits, we understand that it is not always possible or convenient. But no problem! Our website has the complete library inventory available for perusing, and we have a dedicated online store for purchasing Bibles and homeschool resources.
